How can I ensure Alice will work on my computer?

Alice supports the latest versions of macOS and Windows. To check if it’s compatible with your system, simply download the app and run it. If it launches successfully, you’re good to go! Plus, with our 14-day, no-questions-asked refund policy, you can try Alice risk-free and get a full refund if you encounter any issues or aren’t completely satisfied.

Besides the app purchase, are there any additional costs to use Alice?

Yes, you’ll need to pay for AI credits based on the model you use. You can provide your own API keys for the AI models you want to use with Alice. Alternatively, we offer an AI Credits plan, so you don’t have to worry about registering and obtaining keys yourself. With this plan, we’ll extend your message limit every month. In the future, the AI Credits plan will also enable you to use various models beyond just OpenAI, giving you even more flexibility and choice.

Can you explain how paying for AI credits works with Alice?

The cost associated with each chat includes the token cost for the chat messages and any enhanced features used during that conversation. Some of Alice’s enhanced features like Snippets or Assistants may increase your token usage. The amount of tokens used depends on factors like the AI character and the length of your document. All costs are estimated based on the public pricing of OpenAI’s API (or other models you use), with each model and token type having its own pricing. Please refer to your OpenAI dashboard for the most accurate cost of your API key.You can learn more about OpenAI’s models, tokens, and context length in their documentation.

Can you give me a rough estimate of how much I can expect to pay for AI credits?

The cost of AI credits depends on your usage, but in most cases, even with extensive daily use, you likely won’t exceed an average of $1 per day. Many of our users find that they spend less on AI credits for Alice than they would on a ChatGPT subscription, making Alice a cost-effective choice.Additionally, we offer an AI Credits plan that can help you save even more on your AI usage costs. With this plan, you pay a fixed monthly fee and receive a generous allocation of credits to use with Alice. This can be a great option if you want more predictable pricing.

What does it mean when you say Alice is a lifetime version with 1 year of updates?

When you purchase Alice, you’ll have lifetime access to the version you buy (and update during 1 year), meaning you can use it without any time limits. Additionally, you’ll receive all future updates and improvements for a full year from the date of purchase. After the initial year, your version of Alice will continue to be fully functional, but you will no longer receive updates. We plan to release a major version of Alice every year, and you’ll have the option to a paid upgrade to the latest version if you need the newest features and improvements. However, upgrading is entirely optional, as your existing version of Alice will remain functional and usable indefinitely.
